Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to get notifications from a blog using the Tumblr application on the iPhone 6.

   To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

   Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen

   Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

   As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

   Find the Tumblr icon, which is blue with a white "T" inside of it, and tap it once to open the application

   It will automatically take us to our dashboard, which will show posts from other people we're following, This is like the home page for Tumblr and is indicated by the house icon located in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

   Find the blog we wish to get notifications for and tap on it once to open it

   Tap on the head and shoulders icon in the top-right corner of the screen

   .

   This icon is the same as the one in the bottom-right corner.

   Tap on "Get notifications" which is the second option down

   As we can see, next to the head and shoulders icon in the top-right corner, we now have a lightning bolt. This shows that this person will now be in our notifications.

   Go back by tapping on the arrow in the top-left corner of the screen

   We can remove the person from our notifications by going back to the profile and tapping on the head and shoulders icon in the top-right corner of the screen

    Tap on "Stop notifications" which is the second option down

    As we can see, the lightning bolt is now removed from the head and shoulders icon.
