Turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone

Find the Maps tile on the home screen

In this tutorial, it is pinned to the home screen. The tile has a blue background with a white map inside. If the Maps tile is not pinned to the home screen, swipe left to find it in the application menu.

Tap on the Maps tile once it is located to enter the application

The first way is to tap the leftmost button at the bottom of the screen

The button has a white circle with a white building inside. This is the scout button, and it will scout the area and provide information about businesses. A list of businesses in the "eat+drink" section will be given.

Tap any numbered option to get more information about the business

For this example, Kazbegi, a restaurant, is tapped. On the information screen for Kazbegi, there is the second option that says "directions" and "from my location". It will detect the current location of the phone, so GPS has to be enabled for this application.

The application will find directions to the selected location from the current location of the phone.

The other way to find directions is to tap the icon with the three dots in a line to bring up the menu

This works only if a place that has been marked as favorite is going to be selected as the destination.

In this example, Kazbegi has already been marked as favorite. Making a place favorite usually means that the place is frequented and enjoyed.
