Frontside Pop Shuvit in Skateboarding
Edited by Spencer Fitzgerald, Crystal, Eng
Hi, welcome to VisiHow. I'm Spencer Fitzgerald and today I'm going to be teaching you how to front size pop shuvit.
Steps
1
First, watch the beginning of the video to see a few examples of a frontside pop shuvit
.
2
Put your front foot halfway through the board but below the trucks
.
3
For your other foot, put your toes on the end of the tail with your heels hanging off so you can pop it and scoop it in front of you to do a nice frontside shove
.
4
When you pop it, push with your toes in front of you, making the board spin behind you
.
5
You will use your front foot to stop the board from spinning and control it
.
Your front foot will not be moving and it will stay in the same place most of the time. It will catch the board after it spins 180 degrees.
6
To practice for the frontside pop shuvit, you might want to just pop the board and practice landing with your front foot on the board, so you can get the feeling of the spin
.
7
Once you're comfortable with the spin and catching it with your front foot you're going to want to pop the ollie and try to land on it
.
