Free Up Memory on an LG L70

Hello! Thank you for watching VisiHow! This is a tutorial on how to free up memory on the LG L70 by clearing some of the data that is stored in the applications.
Steps

To begin, we can unlock the telephone by pressing the Power button in the top right-hand corner

This brings us to the Home screen. From the Home screen, we'll need to access the "Settings" menu.

We need to tap the "Apps" icon in the bottom right-hand corner

The icon is gray box with a lot of white squares inside of it. We tap it one time. We will see all of the applications that we have downloaded and pre-installed on our telephone.

We can scroll through the screens until we see the icon for "Settings"

The icon is gear-shaped.

We tap "Settings" one time

There are four options in "Settings". Those are "Networks", "Sound", "Display", and "General".

To get to the storage and memory, we'll need to tap the "General" option and highlight it

We'll see all of our options in the "General" settings.

One of the options is "Storage" that we need to tap one time

There will be our telephone storage, all of the available space, the total space, and anything that is currently being stored on the phone as well.

We'll want to select "Apps" button by tapping it one time

All of the applications that are on the telephone will be displayed.

If we want to clear data from one of the application, we simply need to tap it one time
.
Let's tap "Facebook". Below "Force stop" and "Uninstall", there will be the "Clear data" button.

We tap "Clear data" one time

This will give a warning message.

We can tap "OK" if we would like to clear all of the noted data from the telephone
.
The "Data" in "STORAGE" will be at "0.00B".

To go back, we can tap the Back button in the bottom left-hand corner of the telephone

Alternatively, we can tap the back arrow with "App info" at the top

We can then select another application if we would like to clear data from it

In this example, "Viber" was tapped. "Data" shows that 7.91MB can be cleared.

We tap "OK" to approve the deletion of the data from the telephone

The "Data" section will show "0.00B" again.

To go back to the "Settings" screen, we can simply keep tapping the back arrow

We can tap the Home button at the bottom in the center

This will bring us back to the Home screen.

First, consider buying an SD card if you have none installed on your phone

You can install a microSD card up to 32 GB in size. To check if an SD card has been installed, press the home button. Tap on "Apps". Tap on "Settings". Tap on "Storage". If an SD card is listed there, then you already have a microSD card installed. If not, install a microSD card.

Thirdly, launch the Camera application

Tap on the settings cog icon. Tap on "Storage". Tap on "SD card". Tap on the back button at the bottom of the phone. This will save all of the taken photographs to the SD card.
