You are watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can forward an email on the Gmail application on an iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom to bring up the lock screen
.
2
Swipe right to enter the passcode or we can use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone
.
3
Find the Gmail icon which is this white one and tap once to open the application
.
4
As we can see, we are already logged in with one of our email addresses so it goes straight to our emails
.
5
What we need to do is tap and open one of our emails
.
6
Inside the email, we have the option to "Reply" or "Forward" at the bottom
.
7
At the top, we have another arrow pointing to the left and we can tap this arrow
.
8
Tapping the top arrow also gives us the option to "Reply" and "Forward"
.
9
Tap on the right pointing arrow with the word "Forward" to forward the message
.
10
We can see that it will start composing a new email
.
11
We can add a recipient in the "To" section
.
It will offer suggestions from the contact list as we type.
12
We can also add a carbon copy or a blind carbon copy
.
13
We can also change the subject
.
14
We can add a message on top of the forwarded message if we'd like
.
15
Once we are happy, we can tap "Done"
.
16
We can finally send by pressing the arrow in the top right-hand corner that looks like a paper airplane
.
17
We can see that the email is now sending
.
18
19
We can go back to primary by pressing the arrow in the top left-hand corner of the screen
.
20
We can also go and check our sent mail to make sure the email was sent
.
21
This is a VisiHow video and I have just shown you how you can forward an email on the Gmail application on an iPhone 6
