Follow Someone on Google Play Store on HTC One M8

Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to follow someone in the Google Play Store, on an HTC One M8.
Steps
- 1This button is located on top of the device.To begin, we need to turn the phone on by pressing the Power button.
- 2Once the phone has been activated, we will see the Lock screen.
- 3To unlock the phone, we will press down on and screen and swipe upwards.
- 4At the bottom, there will be a row of five icons. To proceed, we will need to tap one of these icons to open up the Applications folder.Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the Home screen.
- 5This icon will feature a grid, made up of white dots. This is our Applications folder icon.We will now tap on the center icon, located at the bottom of the screen.
- 6In the top, left-hand corner, this folder will be labeled "Apps".Tap this icon one time, this will open up our Applications folder.
- 7We can see that there is an icon, featuring a white shopping bag with a colorful shape in the middle. Underneath, the words "Play Store" will be written in white text.In this folder, we need to find the Google Play Store application.
- 8Press down on this application icon one time, this will launch the Google Play Store application for us.
- 9This icon features three, white, horizontal lines.We now need to tap on the icon located in the top, left-hand corner of the screen.
- 10This will open up a menu bar for us.
- 11We will then enter a new section, featuring a row of circular icons at the top.In this menu, we want to tap on the fourth option down, labeled "People".
- 12In this section, we can add people and organizations. We will then be able to see what applications they are using. We can also see comments, and reviews about those applications. We will also be shown comments and interesting things about those people or organizations. This will allow us to have some interaction with them.As we can see, this screen will say "Time to follow some new people to see reviews and +1s!".
- 13These will be people from the phonebook of our HTC One M8. There will also be some common and popular organizations.We will now scroll down, we will see that we have a short list of suggest people to follow.
- 14We will now press down on the word "MORE", located inside of a gray box.
- 15This will bring us to a larger list, suggesting more people for us to follow.
- 16This icon is in the top, right-hand corner of the screen.We may also press the white, magnify glass to search for people or organizations.
- 17We can see that each contact show has a blue, circle with a white "+" sign inside of it, in the bottom right corner of their icon.
- 18We will tap down on one of the circles, for our example we will use "Cee Lo Green".
- 19At the top, this menu will be labeled "Add to circles". This is simply asking us how we would like to follow the selected contact. We can choose "Friends", "Family", "Acquaintances", "Following", or "Add to new circle".This will bring us a white, menu bar for us.
- 20We will now tap on the white box, to the left of the option labeled "Following".
- 21We can see that the contact is now being added to the selected list.
- 22Underneath, this icon will now be labeled "Following". This means that we have successfully followed this contact.Now we will see the circle on Cee Lo Green's icon has turned green, with a white check mark inside of it.
- 23For this example, we will once again use "Cee Lo Green".If we would like to stop following a contact, we can press down on the green circle on their icon.
- 24The same menu we previously open will appear once again.
- 25We can see that the box beside the "Following" option has turned blue, with a white checkmark inside of it.
- 26We will press down on this blue box one time.
- 27The menu will now close, and we can see the contact is being removed from our list.
- 28We can see now that the green circle, which was located on "Cee Lo Greens" icon, has now turned blue once again.
- 29We can tap anywhere on this circle, as long as we do not press the smaller blue circle with the white "+" sign.We will now enter Cee Lo Green's profile, by simply pressing on his circular icon.
- 30This just gives us an idea of what we can see when we follow a contact.This will bring us into Cee Lo Green's activity page.
- 31Under this title, we will see that Cee Lo Green has recently downloaded Shazam. We may also choose to view his profile by tapping the "View profile" option if we would like to.On this screen, we can see the title "Recent shared activity on Play".
- 32We can choose to follow Cee Lo Green once again, by tapping on the "Follow" option located underneath of his icon and name.
- 33Pressing down on "Follow" will open the "Add to circles" menu for us.
- 34We can exit this menu by tapping the white, back arrow in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
