   To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the power button on the top, left-hand side

   We can open Pinterest one of two ways

   Tap the Pinterest icon on the home screen is one way. Alternatively, we can access Pinterest from the Apps menu icon. The Apps menu is on the bottom, right-hand side of the screen in this example. It is an icon of a grey box with a set of white squares inside of it.

   We need to access our own information in order to follow our friends who are following us. Look across the top bar for a little grey icon of a person.

   Tap the little grey person one time to reach the profile information including PINS, BOARDS, and other information about the account

   We can scroll through the list of horizontal words

   We can see the people highlighted in red who are currently following the Pinterest account

    Scroll through until we locate a friend we would like to add back and begin following

    Tap the red button that says FOLLOW that is to the right of the friend's name.
