You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to flip an image in GIMP in Windows 7.
You should have GIMP open and an image ready to use. You can refer to our other tutorials to find out exactly how to do that.
First, come to "Toolbox" and double-click the "Flip" tool. You can also press "Shift" + "F" if the "Tool Options" window is opened.
You can click "Horizontal" or "Vertical" in the "Tool Options" area. Let's click "Horizontal".
The "Flip" tool can also be found at the top by clicking "Tools" in the menu.
Then, move the cursor to "Transform Tools".
Then, click "Flip". This will change the cursor into an arrow pointing in two directions.
Click the image. The image will be flipped horizontally. Alternatively, just press "Ctrl" and click the image. The image will be flipped in the other two directions.
Click "Vertical" in the "Tool Options".
Click the image to flip it. Alternatively, just press "Ctrl" and click the image. The image will be flipped in the other two directions.
