Fine Tune Photos in Snapseed on an LG L70
Edited by Hotelier, Robert, Eng
Hello, and thank you for using VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to fine tune photos using the Snapseed application on the LG L70.
Steps
1
To begin, we will unlock the phone by pressing the power button located on the right side of the phone
.
2
Now, we will swipe upwards to get to the home screen
.
3
Find the Snapseed icon, which looks like a leaf in front of a small card, and tap on it once
.
4
If the Snapseed icon isn't on the home screen, we can find it by tapping on the apps menu icon which is a gray box with a set of white squares inside of it
.
In this example, we're accessing the app by tapping the icon on the home screen. Now we're at the home page of the application.
5
Tap on the icon at the bottom of the screen that looks like a small mobile phone above the words "Open Photo"
.
This will open up our photo gallery that contains all of the photos we've taken with our mobile camera.
6
Scroll until we find the photo we'd like to edit, and tap on it once to open the full-sized image
.
7
To begin the editing process, tap on the icon in the bottom-right corner that looks like a pencil
.
This will open up a menu with all of the various tools, and if we scroll down, we will see different filters. The tools we can use are "Tune Image", "Crop", "Transform", "Selective", "Vignette", "Details", "Rotate", "Brush", or "Spot Repair".
8
In this example, we're going to tune the image by tapping on "Tune Image"
.
9
We can tap and hold the image and slide our finger up or down to open up a menu within the tuning where we can tap on "Brightness", "Contrast", "Saturation", "Ambiance", "Shadows", "Highlights", or "Warmth"
.
10
In this example, we'll tap on "Saturation"
.
Once we've selected "Saturation" and it is highlighted blue, we're back to the photograph.
11
Below the photograph in any section of the grey area, we tap and slide our finger to the right or the left to adjust the saturation
.
We can see at the bottom it says "+100", and if we lower it we can go all the way down to "-100". Select a saturation that we're happy with.
12
To save the adjustment, tap on the check mark icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen
.
Now we can see that we've made one change to the photograph indicated in the small white box near the top-right corner.
13
This concludes our tutorial on how to fine tune photos using the Snapseed application on the LG L70
.
