You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show you how to find the WiFi password on your Mac. This might be useful if you have forgotten your WiFi password and someone wants to connect to your network.
Press "command" and the space bar on the keyboard. Once you press this shortcut, a search bar will appear.
Press "enter" to open the Key chain Access application.
Click the WiFi symbol in the upper-right corner of the screen. In this video, you will see that "HUAWEI-53BA" is checked. This means that it is being used.
Click "Search" in the Key chain Access window.
Enter the name of your wireless router. In this video, "huawei-53ba" is typed into the search bar in the application window.
When search results show up, double-click the name of the router with "System" in the "Key chain" column.
Then, check the "Show password" box. You will be asked to enter your system password.
Enter the system password.
When you have entered your password, press "enter". Next, Key chain Access will ask you to enter your user name and password.

After that information has been entered, press "enter". The password for your WiFi network will be shown in the text box next to "Show password"
