Press the power button on the right hand side of the screen to turn the phone on

Swipe the lock screen up to access the home screen

Find and tap on the Maps tile
.
The Maps tile looks like a white map on a blue background. If your Maps application is not pinned to the home screen, swipe left and open it from the applications menu.

Once Maps has been opened, press on the white icon with two circles in it to focus on your selected location

The search button can also be used to search and select a location

The search button is a white circle with a magnifying glass in it.

Type in the search location and press on the return key to locate

The return key is a white key with a right arrow.

Press on the white button with buildings in it to scout around your area of interest

Points of interest can be found around any selected location. This is called the scout function.

Pressing the scout button will display a number of interesting locations in the selected area

Points of interest are split into "eat + drink" and "see + do"

Swipe left to open the "see + do" section.These are the things to see and do in London.

There are various categories in the "see + do" section

For example, we can press on "Family Attractions" to open information about family attractions such as address, directions, phone numbers, et cetera.

Press the back button to go back to the "see + do" section

The back button is a white arrow pointing to the left at the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

In order to filter specific attractions, press on "show categories"

This will open a new screen where we can select the white boxes to include any options in our list
.
For example, we can press the box in front of "Tourist attractions" to include it into the list. Note that the choices vary depending on your area.

Once filters are selected, press the back button to return to the "see + do" page

Now all the options are filtered to be tourist attractions

Next, press a tile that you find interesting
