   To start with, we need to scroll over to the "Alliance Gate"

   .

   Once we find the "Alliance Gate", we are going to give it a single tap. This is going to bring up some options.

   We are looking for the option to seek an "Alliance"

   .

   We may have already joined an alliance. We may not be a member of anything yet. However, if you have followed our other tutorials on how to manage your Facebook account and connect your game center account, then we'll undoubtedly have friends. They may have performed these same steps, and may be waiting for us in the "Alliance" search panel. Tap "Alliance", and it will load a new menu, where we have the options; "Join Alliance", "Search", and "Friends".

   Let's tap on "Friends", and it will open our friend list

   Right away, it looks for friends from Facebook. For example, If I had more friends, then I would be able to find them here. I only have one.

   Let's tap on a friend, then tap "Visit", and it will load our friend's well-constructed and well-defended castle

   Let's tap on "Return Home", in the top left-hand corner of the screen, when we're done searching or looking

   One tap on "Return Home" will take us back.

   If we'd like to search for more friends, we can repeat the process by tapping on the triangle icon, here

   Tap the green bar labeled, "Show Me". This will take us directly to the "Alliance Gate".

   As before, we can tap on the "Alliance Gate" and then tap the "Alliance" menu button again

   Tap "Friends", and we can see who's there.

   We can also search for friends

   .

   It is important to note that the search feature was put in there for those who have more friends than the system can handle. Since I only have about 4 Facebook friends, and only one of them plays, this is not an issue for me. But if we were to have thousands of friends, and hundreds of them play this game, then we may have some problems locating a certain person. Tap on the text box near the top of the screen. Type our text, then search.
