Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to filter eBay search results using the eBay application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone
.
2
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen
.
3
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode
.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
4
Find the eBay icon on the home screen
.
The icon is a white color with the word 'eBay' in red, blue, yellow, and green. Tap it once to open the application.
5
Tap on the gray "Search eBay" bar at the top of the screen to begin searching
.
As we can see, we are currently on the eBay home page, which is indicated by the small blue "Home" icon in the bottom-left corner being highlighted blue.
6
Search for an item or tap on a previously searched item
.
In this example, we've previously searched for books, so we can simply tap that option.
7
Find the blue options at the top of the screen
.
As we can see, it has brought our search results up as separate thumbnails.
8
Tapping on "Refine" will bring us to this options panel
.
Tap on "Done" when finished.
9
Tap and swipe the blue words to the left to see more options
.
We can tap on anything we'd like to edit.
10
In this example, we'll tap on "Price"
11
Here we can enter a minimum and maximum price, which will narrow our results to items within that price range
.
Tap on "Done" when finished. The small moving circle in the notification bar in the top-left will indicate that it is loading.
12
In this example, we will tap on "Refine" and view the options
.
We can choose buying format, condition, nearby items, shipping etc.
13
Tap on "Show More" to display more options
.
14
Tap on any of these options to enable or disable them
.
The green indicates that the option is enabled, and white indicates that it is disabled.
15
Tap on "Done" to finish and save our changes
.
16
Alternatively, we can tap on "Reset" at the bottom to reset all of the settings to the original configuration
.
17
Tap to the beside the menu on the left side to go back to the search results
.
18
Tap on the "Home" icon in the bottom-left corner to go back to the eBay home screen that we started from
.
19
