Hi. You're watching VisiHow and today I'm going to show you how to filter your search results on the TripAdvisor app on the iPhone 6.
Steps

Start by turning the phone by pressing the button on the right-hand side

Alternatively, pressing the big, round Home button at the bottom of the screen turns the phone on

Swipe to the right the enter your passcode or use the Home button as the fingerprint scanner

Unlocking the phone will direct us to the Home screen

This one is personalized to look different.

Find the TripAdvisor app which looks like a green tile with an owl's face in yellow and white with big eyes

Click the icon once to open the app and be taken to the main menu

Search directly if you know the exact name and location of the site
.
That search has been discussed in another video.

You can search previously visited locations

The 'Browse' section is another option of searching
.
As mentioned before, this is demonstrated in other videos. In this example, we will click 'Restaurant option.'

The location is set to 'London,' within any price, and for all cuisines
.
Click 'Search.'

We are directed to the restaurants in London within the broad search results
.

To limit the search click the lower right-hand option called, 'Filter.'

Click on the price range option edit it

As indicated here, the more pound signs (or dollar signs or whatever currency you use) the more expensive the cuisine
.
Click one or more to set a price range. A green checkmark appears next to your selection(s).

Click 'Done' in the upper right-hand corner when you're happy with the price range

If you'd like to disregard those changes click the 'Filter' option in the top left-hand corner

You will be redirected to the 'Filter' page when you select 'Done' or 'Filter.' Select a cuisine

In the 'Cuisine type' menu, there will be a scrolling list of the most popular types of cuisines in your region in alphabetical order

To make a choice, click the cuisine(s) you desire

These examples are Delicatessen, Caribbean, Asian, German, and British. The green checkmarks appear where ever you click.

If you want to discard your selections click 'Filter' in the top left-hand corner

Alternatively, click 'Done' in the top right-hand corner to save and filter the results

To specify neighborhoods select the last option

This lists the neighborhoods of London

Click the locales or districts that apply to you. The green checkmarks appear on the right-hand side of the neighborhood to indicate it's been selected.

Click 'Done' on the top right-hand corner to save the selections

Returning to the 'Filter' you can search with the 'Search' button on the top right-hand corner or the bottom green 'Search' bar

After clicking 'Search' the restaurant list has been filtered to match the specified selections

To change these options click 'Filter' again, located in the bottom right-hand corner

This returns you to the 'Filter' menu where you can modify the price range, and cuisine type again

To return to the main menu click the 'Back' button in the top left-hand corner
