Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to filter search results for places near you now in TripAdvisor on the LG L70.

   To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the power button on the top right-hand side, then swipe up

   We do have a TripAdvisor icon on the home screen

   .

   It's a green icon with an owl inside of it. If we don't have it on the home screen, we can access it through the apps menu. The icon for the apps menu is in the bottom right-hand corner in this example. It is a gray box with a set of white squares inside of it and below the icon it says "Apps". This brings us to a grid of all of the apps we've downloaded.

   We will open TripAdvisor by tapping on the icon on the home screen

   .

   If we want to search for places near us now, we can tap on "Near Me Now". We may have to scroll down depending how many of our search results have been saved. It's the top option under "Browse", and it's a blue icon with a bullseye in the center.

   Here we can choose from hotels, restaurants, things to do, vacation rentals, and saves

   .

   We'll choose restaurants. This will show restaurants near us now.

   To filter these results, we can tap on "Filter" in the bottom right-hand corner

   There are three options. On the left is "Map", in the middle is "Sort" and on the right is "Filter".

   We can filter by establishment type, cuisine type, price and meals served

   .

   We'll filter by cuisine type.

   Tap on the chosen cuisine types

   We'll choose "Italian".

   When we're finished with our selections we can press "DONE" in the top right-hand corner

   Now we are looking for all establishment types, Italian cuisine, all prices and all meals served.

   Tap on "Search", which is in the green bar across the bottom

   It will show only establishments that are in the "Restaurants" category that have identified themselves as serving Italian cuisine.

    We can close the TripAdvisor application and go back to the home screen, by pressing the bottom center home button
