Edited by Freya, Jen M, Eng, VC
You're watching VisiHow. This tutorial will show you how to Feather edges of an object on Adobe Illustrator CS6 on Windows 7.
- 2Please view our other Adobe Illustrator tutorials for instructions on how to create this type of shape. First you should make the object live by using your Selection tool located on the left-hand side toolbar. It is the black arrow icon.I have already highlighted an object which I created using the blob brush tool.Advertisement
- 9For this tutorial, I'm going to zoom in on the object so you can view the changes more clearly. You can click to manually type in an amount to make the point much larger. You can also use the up and down arrows on the left-hand side. As you can see, the 50pt radius is so large that the entire object has been feathered since the object is thin. You can see a very slight effect now because we have a 5pt radius.
