How to Factory Reset Your Digital2 D2-927G 9" Tablet
Follow these steps to reset the D2927G to it's factory default state.
A popular budget Tablet used in many homes, the 927G can be difficult to reset or interact with if you don't know how it is different than more mainstream Android devices, like the Samsung Galaxy. This guide contains a list of steps that will help you reset your Tablet to a factory default state.
- If you just want to reset your D2-927G Password, you can do that by following these steps.
- 1Power down your Tablet.
- 2Once it has powered down, press and hold the 'Volume Up' button.
- 3While still holding the 'Volume Up' button, press and hold the 'Power' button.
- 4Keep pressing both buttons until you see the Digital2 logo appear (from 10 to 15 seconds).
- 5When you see the Digital2 logo, immediately release both buttons.
- 6After a moment, you will see an icon of an 'Android' robot on it's back, with a red triangle sitting on top of it.
- 7When you see this, press and hold the 'Power' button, and single press the 'Volume Up' button once.
- 8This should open the 'Android System Recovery' menu selection screen.
- 9Let go of your 'Power' button.
- 10From here, use your 'Volume Down' button to scroll down to the 'wipe data/Factory Reset' option.
- 11Press your 'Power' button to select it.
- 12Now, scroll to the 'Yes - delete all user data' option.
- 13Press your 'Power' button to select it.
- 14Wait a few minutes for your Digital2 tab to finish resetting and restoring to the factory default state, and you're done.
Tips and Suggestions for Factory Resetting Digital2 Tablets
The following tips will help reset your D2 Android Tab to it's factory default state.
- Make sure your device is fully charged. Losing power part way through resetting an Android device to a factory default state can leave your device in an unrecoverable state.
- Back up your data. Any information on your D2 Tablet will be deleted when you perform a Factory Reset.
- Do not plug in or unplug your device to any power or USB ports while you are performing a factory restore, unless you have been specifically instructed to do so by alternate instructions from Digital2.
