Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how to export a workbook on Microsoft Excel 2013 as a PDF document. We would want to do this in cases where we would like to send our excel file, but the recipient does not have Microsoft Excel. Also, this would be helpful in cases where you would like to send a file and do not want it to be altered to protect the document. There are two ways we can do this.

The first way is to go to "FILE"

We are then going to select "Export"

When we do that, we have the option to create a PDF document or XPS

Click that option.

Once we click on that, we can save the file as a PDF under "Save as type"

Once it gets to that state, just click "Publish"

It will take a moment or two after which we will see the file converted to a PDF. All of the information and formatting are the same. It is just not editable. This is good for sharing with people that do not wish the content to be edited.

The second way would be to click on the "Foxit PDF" tab if we have this extension downloaded

Click on "Create PDF"

The window will come up, and we're just going to save in onto our desktop for now

We are then going to export it as a PDF document

We'll see again, that the file has been changed into a PDF document.

Once the PDF file has been created, if there is a PDF program, comments can be added, and other features to the document but the main content itself cannot be edited

That is how we create or export a workbook or document into PDF document
.
We can also export it and email it as a PDF document as well from the program. As we can see, there is a "Create and email" tab.

We can also go to the "Share" menu then click on "Email" to go ahead and share it that way
