How many times have you had the need to copy, transfer, move, files and folders from your Android Mobile? Using Bluetooth is a long process and does not work on folders, not to mention that not all laptops have Bluetooth capability, and that Bluetooth transferred files need to be moved and sorted out of the location of transfer folder.

In this wiki you will learn how to:

    .
Most Android users have "ES File Manager" as a file explorer application, using it to maneuver files in their SD card and Mobile internal memory. If you don't have ES File manager, you can download it from your application market or use this link: http://www.1mobile.com/es-file-explorer--file-manager-70957.html

ES File Manager V.3 has implemented a new tool in their application called "Remote Manager" that you can find by pressing the menu soft-key and then tapping on "Tools." This Tool is great, it enables you to link to your Mobile SD card over WiFi and manage files and whole folders through FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
    .
So once linked with any FTP file manager or program like "FileZilla" you can access the assigned path and maneuver files.

Either by using Wireless connection or wired connection. You can go to this link to download the FileZilla Client for PC: https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client

If you do not know how to set a server using File Zilla, you may refer to the steps below on how you can set an FTP server:

    1. Download the client from the given link above then install it after. During the installation, make sure that you select "Install as service, started with Windows (default)" then the port number should be on "14147". If in case those we different, just change them as mentioned.

You will see there a Server IP address and port IP, you can specify the Server Address there that is in range of the IP address of your DHCP server at home or leave it as 127.0.0.1 and leave the port as 14147 (Although you can change it to your preferred port number but it is best to leave it as it is). Make your own password and make sure that you remember what password you have typed in in case you forgot it.

    3. Once you have the server up on screen, click the "Edit" on you the client and hit on Groups. Now, click on the Add button for you to create a group and name it to the name you wanted. You need also to specify which folder you wanted to be shared or accessible to all users within the group that you made. Simply click on OK
