    The first thing you need to do is open Kaspersky Total Security

    When the program opens, click on "Additional Tools" at the bottom of the window

    On the left side of the window, click "Privacy Protection"

    On the right side of the window, click on "Privacy Cleaner"

    A new window will appear

    Make sure the radio button is placed next to "Search for user activity traces". This will search for web history, file history, cookies, caches, and so on. Then, click "Next".

    Then, wait for the scan to finish

    This may take some time, depending on the data on your computer.

    When the scan is complete, you will need to tick the boxes next to the data you would like to clear

    Scroll through the list and untick options according to your preference. Unticked options will not be cleared. When you have made your selections, click "Next" at the bottom of this window.

    Then, wait for the clearing process to finish

    When the process is completed, you can click "Finish" or you can first tick "Reboot the computer" and then click "Finish"

    If you tick "Reboot the computer", then when you click "Finish", the computer will restart.

I have done the steps as outlined, but when I go back and view details there is no change, the items are still listed?

I have done the steps as indicated and when completed and I went back and viewed the details all the items are still appearing. I thought they would be deleted. I did what the article said and there were no changes to the display.
