Enlarge Fonts and Text on iPhone 6
Edited by Kara, Rushell, Eng
Hello. You are watching VisiHow, and in this video, I will show you how to enlarge fonts and text on the iPhone 6.
Let's unlock our phone. In my case, I am using the fingerprint scan.
If you have bad eyesight, it may be more convenient for you to have bigger text, such as the application icon labels on your Home screen. If the text is too small for you to be able to read it, there is an option to make the text larger without having to access the zoom feature. Tapping three times on the screen will bring up a window that will zoom in on certain areas of the screen.
You can drag this zoom window around to different areas, but that can be inconvenient because it can be difficult to see some things on the screen.
However, if you like the zoom tool, you can look at one of my previous videos on how to create zoom on your iPhone 6. Today, I will show you how to make the font and text bigger. Tap on the gray Settings icon.
On the Settings menu, scroll down a little until you find Display & Brightness. Tap on that.
At the very bottom section of the Display & Brightness settings, there is a Text Size option. Tap that to open those options.
At the Text Size screen, drag the slider in the middle to make the font bigger. Slide to the left to make the text smaller or the right to make it bigger.
The sample text at the top will change size as you move the slider switch from left to right.
When you are happy with the size of the text, Tap Back at the top left corner of the screen.
If you want to make your text bold, tap on the switch across from Bold Text.
A message will appear stating that Applying this setting will restart your iPhone. Tap Continue to confirm.
Now, all of the letters are bolder. To change the font back to what it was, go into Settings again.
Choose Display & Brightness.
Then make the desired changes to the text using the options at the bottom of the screen.
Thank you for watching VisiHow. If you have any additional questions on how your phone works, or if you were lost in the settings, leave your questions in the comment section, and the VisiHow team will be happy to help you.
