You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to show you how to cancel your Amazon Prime free trial membership before you get billed. If you're like me, you may have tested the Amazon Prime membership for a 30-day free trial to get some free shipping, but you don't want to spend the $100 for the entire year. Let's cancel that membership. To begin, you will need to navigate to www.amazon.com in the browser of your choice.

   Enter the account details

   This includes the email or mobile number and the password that were used when creating the account.

   Click "Sign in using our secure server"

   Click on "Your Account" once more

   We will still have access to the Prime Membership benefits for the remainder of the trial period, but it will not automatically charge our credit card the $99 at the end of our trial.

   We could also choose to "Continue Membership" or have it "Remind Me Later". We will choose "Do Not Continue".

   Read the confirmation message

   It now says, "Your membership will end on September 25, 2015". That is 30 days after we started the trial membership.
