Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to turn on and off the option to use the in-app browser when opening external links in Twitter on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

   We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

   There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

   Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Twitter application

   There is a Twitter icon, which is a blue background with a white bird on tap, and underneath it says the word "Twitter". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We want to demonstrate how to turn on and off the option to use the in-app browser when opening external links in Twitter.

   To do that, tap on the 3 vertical dots in the top right-hand corner of the screen

   We want the option at the bottom, "Settings"

   Underneath it says "Open external links with Twitter browser". What this means is that when we see a link in a tweet and we press down on it, it's going to open it in the in-app browser, keeping us in the Twitter application. It will allow us to look at the external websites while we're still in the Twitter application. If we don't want to use the in-app browser and we want to go directly to the website with our own browser, then we can tap on the box on the right-hand side. If the box is blue with a white check mark, the option is enabled.
