    Swipe to the right to enter your passcode
    .
    As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the 'Home' button to use the fingerprint scanner.

    On the 'Home screen', find the 'YouTube' application

    The icon is red and white with a red frame, a white square inside of it, and a red triangle inside of the white square. It looks like a television screen. Tap it once to open the application. It will automatically take you to the 'What to Watch' page, which will either be specifically recommending videos that it thinks you will like if you're signed in, or it will be the most popular videos if you're not signed in.

    Tap the icon at the top left that looks like three horizontal lines

    It will bring you to a new menu.

    Tap the white gear icon at the top left of the new menu

    This will bring you to the settings menu, which has several different sections to look at.

    Tap on 'Safety Mode', which is our first option

    This will bring us to a menu that gives us two options for 'Safety Mode Filtering'.

    Tap on 'Don't filter', which in this example is indicated by the blue check mark, or tap on 'Filter.' Whichever option we tap on, the blue check mark will move to indicate which option we have selected
