Edited by Thor, Crystal, Eng
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to turn on and off the option for videos to play automatically in Facebook on an HTC One M8.
Steps

- 2
- 3
- 4There is a Facebook icon, which is a blue background with a white "f" inside, and underneath it says the word "Facebook". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We now need to find the settings menu. Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Facebook application.

- 7
- 8The options are "On", "WiFi only" or "Off". Facebook had a trial period where every video played automatically, but they have now added an option to change it. The reason we have "On" as well as "WiFi only", is because it can take a lot of data if we're watching videos without WiFi. This may end up costing us more money. If we choose "WiFi only", we can be sure that we're not using too much of our data plan, and we won't get charged extra. We're going to choose that option. It will then say "WiFi only" under "Videos play automatically".Tap on the chosen option in the "Video Auto-play" prompt.
