Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to turn on and off the option to receive offer redemptions from Twitter on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

   We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

   There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

   Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Twitter application

   .

   There is a Twitter icon, which is a blue background with a white bird on tap, and underneath it says the word "Twitter". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. Now we need to find the settings menu.

   To do that, tap on the 3 vertical dots in the top right-hand corner of the screen

   We want the option at the bottom, "Settings"

   Scroll down and find the "Offer redemptions" option

   Underneath it says "Receive notifications when you redeem cash back offers on Twitter". This option is currently activated, indicated by the blue box with the white check mark inside. That means that we will receive these notifications when we redeem cash back offers on Twitter.

    If we don't want to use this service, we can press down on the box until it is empty

    If the box is empty, the option is deactivated.
