   To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

   Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen

   Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

   As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

   Find the settings icon, which is grey with a grey gear inside of it, and tap on it once to open the phone settings

   Scroll down to the list of applications in alphabetical order and tap on "Tumblr", which is probably near the bottom

   Tap on the white button next to "Allow Notifications" to enable the option

   The button will highlight green to indicate that the option is enabled. This is where we can edit our notification preferences.

   Tap on the option we prefer to select how many notification we see at one time

   We can select "1 Recent Item", "5 Recent Items", "10 Recent Items", or "No Recent Items". The check mark on the right-hand side will indicate which option we've selected. In this example, we'll choose "5 Recent Items".
