Steps

    To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom to bring up the lock screen.

    Swipe to the right and enter the Passcode or use the fingerprint scanner.

    Tap once on the "Settings" icon, which is the grey icon that looks like a cog.

    We need to scroll down until we find the FitBit icon, which will be towards the top of the applications because it is in alphabetical order.

    Tap on "FitBit."

    Then tap on "Notifications."

    Now slide on the "Allow Notifications" to enable it and it turns green.

    Slide the bubble again to disable the Notifications.

    Edit the preferences by tapping on "Show in Notification Center."

    We can see the default amount is "5 Recent Items." Select the preferred amount, more or less or "No Recent Items." The example will keep the default setting.

    Press "Notifications" in the top, corner of the screen to get back. We don't need to press save anyway because it saves automatically.

    We can enable or disable our "Sounds," the "Badge App Icon," or "Show on Lock Screen" options.

    If we choose to "Show on Lock Screen," we can edit how we want to it to be presented by choosing one of the illustration styles. At the moment it is on "Banners" because there is a ring around the word.

    We can select "Alerts" or "None," as well. This example will keep the "Banners" style.

    Press on "FitBit" in the top, left-hand corner.
