Steps

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone
    .
    Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

    Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

    We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

    There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

    Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Play Newsstand application
    .
    There is an icon of a blue piece of paper and underneath are the words "Play Newsstand". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We now need to find the settings menu.

    To do that, we need to tap the icon in the top left-hand corner

    There are 3 horizontal lines. This will open up a menu.

    We want to tap on "Settings"

    We want the option that says "Download while charging only"

    Underneath it says, "To reduce battery usage, download only while charging". It's pretty self-explanatory, it will save battery life if we have this feature turned on. We can see it is currently off because the box is empty. To turn it on, press down on the box.
