Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to turn on and off notifications about your friends' life events from Facebook on a Microsoft Lumia 535.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and it is here that we need to find the Facebook icon.

   Tap on the Facebook tile

   There is a blue tile background, and in the bottom right-hand corner of the tile, there is a white square with a blue "f" inside.

   This option will be deactivated. We will then return to the "Notifications" menu where it will say "Changes saved." at the top.
