    To start with, we should unlock our phone which we can do by pressing the 'Lock' Button on the right-hand side of the handset or the 'Home' button which is the big round button at the bottom of the screen

    Once the lock screen is up, simply swipe right to unlock the phone
    .
    Enter your passcode or hold your finger on the 'Home' button which doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

    Once we are at the home screen, it will just be a case of finding the Skype icon
    .
    Yours may look a little different, as this is personalized and in a folder. The icon itself is light blue and white and has a blue 'S' in the center.

    Simply tap that to open it up

    This will open in either your recent contacts page, which is shown here or it will go to the 'Sign In' page. In that case please refer to the other video explaining how to sign in.

    For today, we are going to the top right-hand corner where there is a very small circle showing your profile picture and a small colored dot next to that which is your Status
    .
    Click on the profile picture to bring up your Profile settings.

    Then we go down to the final option which is 'Settings', with a small blue cog
    .
    Tap to open this option.

    Now we can see we have 'Push Notifications', 'In App Notifications' and also 'In App Sounds'
    .
    Simply click on the green button to enable or disable each of these options. These work together because the In App Notification will be the visual aid and the In App Sound is a notification through a beep or a buzz or something similar.

    Seeing as they work together, if 'In App Notifications' is disabled then 'In App Sounds' will be disabled
    .
    However, you can have 'In App Notifications' enabled but the In App Sounds disabled' but not visa versa.

    To go back, press the blue arrow and then the white arrow in the top left-hand corner

    Then you are back on the Home page.
