Enable or Disable File Attachment Downloads When Using a Microsoft Outlook Account on HTC One M8

Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to include or prohibit file attachments when downloading files from a Microsoft Outlook account when using an HTC One M8.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone. Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.
To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up. Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to find the Settings menu. To do that, we need to swipe the notification panel down.
To do that, press your finger at the top of the screen and swipe downwards. This will open the notification panel.
We want to tap the white cog icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. This is our settings icon and it will open up the settings menu. It will say the word "Settings" in the top left-hand corner of the screen when it is opened.
Now, tap on "Accounts & sync" in the "PERSONAL" section. The icon on the left-hand side is a small gray circle, surrounded by two arrows making another circle. In this setting, we will see all of the accounts that we currently have synced with the phone.
We want to tap on "Outlook.com". It has the Outlook icon to the left of it.
Now, we want to tap on "General settings". Underneath, it says, "Size limit, format and server".
Scroll down and tap on "Include file attachment". It currently says "Never" underneath, indicating the option that is selected. We want to demonstrate how to change this.
Now we can tap to choose from the list of options. What it means by file attachments is, any time we receive an email and have an attachment with it. An attachment could be a document, photo, or video, and they can take up a lot of space. That's why "Never" is currently selected. This is the default option. We can change this if we're working and receive a lot of attachments. We change it to anything between "Never" and "Always". There are different sizes such as 25 KB, 100 KB, 500 KB, 1 MB or 2 MB. We can also select "WiFi only". That means it will only download file attachments when using WiFi.
If we select "WiFi only", there will be a blue checkmark in the box. If the box is empty, the option is not selected.
Now we can see that the text under "Include file attachment" has changed to the selected option, "Smaller than 100 KB".
If we tap on it again, we will see that the blue circle has moved to that option and we can make another choice if we want.
This concludes the tutorial on how to include or prohibit file attachments when downloading emails from a Microsoft Outlook account on an HTC One M8.
