You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we're going to demonstrate how to turn on or turn off "Battery saver" on the Nexus 6P.
From the home screen, take two fingers and swipe down from the top of the screen.
Now, tap on the gear shaped icon in the top right.
Scroll down until you reach "Battery." Tap it once.
Then, tap the three dots in the top right.
You can enable "Battery saver" by tapping the first option.
You can change the Off switch to On by tapping once. After this, everything will show in an orange bar, indicating that the Batter Saver mode is on and it's going to reduce some of the functionality and performance to enable a longer battery life.
Tap on the circle to go back to the home screen.
If I would like to disable this option, I will swipe down from the top. I will see that the Battery saver is on. I can't dismiss this notification, so it's always going to be there until I turn it off.
I can choose "TURN OFF BATTERY SAVER."
Now, the Battery saver mode will be turned off.
