Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to turn on and off the option to auto download media when connected to WiFi in Viber on an HTC One M8.
Steps

- 3
- 4There is a Viber icon, which is a purple speech bubble with a white telephone inside, and underneath it says the word "Viber". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. Now we need to find the settings menu. Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Viber application.

- 6
- 7
- 8Underneath it says, "Allow automatic download of photos and videos over WiFi connection". It is currently activated because the circle is turquoise and has a white check mark inside. That's because WiFi is normally free and available. We usually don't have to pay fees for public WiFi networks. If we want to turn the option off, we can do that by tapping on the circle until it is empty. Now the Viber application will not automatically download media over WiFi.We want the second option, "Auto download media when connected to WiFi".
