Enable and Set frequency of send and receive intervals for Gmail
Edited by Eng, Grimm, roxy.bella, DeleteQnA
Most of the users of Samsung S3 and several other models too set their Gmail directly via the Gmail icon, which is located on the desktop. That will enable the Sync of the Gmail. Yet a friend of mine asked me on how to set the send and receive frequency intervals. He said he can set it for his Hotmail account but not for the Gmail. Well, it took a bit of exploring and experimenting and I got a work-around for that. I wanted to share that with you, should anyone need to set it. As you can see from the following photo, most of the users go to the Gmail Icon and set their Gmail account using that icon (marked in Blue).
If you browse the Gmail icon and its related settings, you will not find an option of setting the Send & Receive frequency, which we need to set.
How to set frequency send & receive intervals for Gmail account
- 1If you go into Settings by clicking on the "Settings" icon and then from the "Settings" window click on the "Accounts and sync" as you can see from the next photo, the account (Red marked 1) will not be there if you had only set up the Gmail through the Gmail icon, only the account (Red marked 2) will appear.
