Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to Enable the stats for nerds option in YouTube on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

   Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen. At the bottom, we will see several icons. It is one of these icons that we now need to use, as we need to open up the Applications folder.

   Find the icon at the bottom center of the home screen

   It looks like a grid made up of white dots. Press down on the this icon, and it will open up our Applications folder.

   Find the YouTube application

   In this demonstration, it is located at the bottom right. The YouTube icon is a big red button with a white triangle inside. Underneath, it says the word "YouTube". This icon may be in a different location in this folder. Find the icon and press down to enter the application.

   Press on the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen

   The icon has three small black dots in a vertical line. A dropdown menu will open.

   Note that the option is currently disabled, as the adjacent box is empty

   To enable this option, press down anywhere on that section.

    Now, we can see the box is turquoise with a white check inside

    This means that this option is now enabled.
