Edited by Freya, Robert, Dougie
Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to enable location access using the Pinterest application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone
.
2
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen
.
3
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode
.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
4
Find and tap on the settings icon, which is gray with a darker gray gear inside
.
5
Scroll down until we find our Pinterest application and tap on it once, the list is in alphabetical order so it should be towards the bottom
.
This will open up the settings for the app.
6
Because we're looking for location, we will tap on "Location" which has a blue arrow on the left side
.
It might say "Never" on the right side.
7
Tap on "Never", which in the example is enabled and indicated by the blue check mark, or tap "While Using the App"
.
Use whichever one we want.
8
Tap on the blue arrow in the top-left corner to go back to Pinterest settings
.
9
Press on the home button once
.
10
Find and tap on the Pinterest application, which has an icon that has a white "P" inside of a red circle
.
If we are signed in, this should automatically take us to the dashboard in the Pinterest application.
11
Now you know how to enable location access using the Pinterest application on the iPhone 6
.
