Hello, you're watching VisiHow and today I'm going to show you how to enable your location on the Booking.com app on the iPhone 6.

To begin, we need to unlock our phone
.
We can do this by pressing the big round button located at the bottom at the center of the screen. Alternatively, we can press down on the 'Lock' button located on the upper right-hand side of the handset.

Once the lock screen is up, swipe to the right and enter your passcode

You may also hold your finger on the 'Home' button which doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

This will bring up the home screen

From here you will need to locate the 'Booking.com' app. This icon is dark blue in color and features a white uppercase letter 'B' with a small light blue circle next to it.

Tap this icon once to open up the main screen of the 'Booking.com' application

Click on the search bar located on the upper side of this screen

This will open three more options, these include 'Around Me', 'Recent', and 'Popular'

Tap on the 'Around Me' option

This will give us another option labeled 'Around current location'

Tap on it and it will change to search for your current location.

As we can see, a pop up will appear informing us that location services are disabled

Simply press 'OK'.

Now we need to go down to the home button again located at the bottom of the screen

Press it once, then again a second later to bring us back to the home screen.

From here we need to locate the settings
.
The icon is grey with a darker grey cog inside. Tap it once to open the settings menu.

Scroll downwards to find the applications section, they will be presented in alphabetical order

Find 'Booking.com' and tap it once

It will be towards the top.

This will open the 'Booking.com' settings menu

Tap the word 'Never' which is featured on the 'Location' tab

This will be the first item on the list, represented with a blue square that has a white navigation symbol in it, alongside the word 'Location'.

This will open another menu with three options, these determine when to allow location access on the 'Booking.com' application

The setting that is selected will be indicated with a blue check marked on the right of each tab.

Tap on the tab with the text 'While Using the App' to turn on location services
.
We may also tap on the setting marked as 'Always', this just means that location services will always be turned on which may drain your battery faster. This setting will save automatically.

Double click the home button to bring up the Windows that are currently open

Tap on the Bookings.com window to open the app

Tap the blue button with the word 'Search' on it

When we open the app it will bring us back to where we left off, so we do not need to navigate to find this button.
