   The first thing you need to do is open Kaspersky Total Security

   When Kaspersky is open, you need to click the gear icon in the lower left corner of the window

   Clicking the gear icon will allow you to access the "Settings" menu.

   In the settings menu, click on "Protection" on the left side of the window

   Now, you may need to scroll through the list on the right hand side to locate the "Firewall" option

   Once you locate "Firewall", click the switch to the right to move it to the "On" position

   If you are using another firewall, such as the default Windows Firewall, you may be prompted to turn it off. Two firewalls cannot run at the same time. They will end up blocking each other, so you do have to choose one, whether it's Windows, Kaspersky, or a firewall from a different third party.
