In order to significantly speed up your downloads, you're going to want to enable download booster. What this does is connects your WiFi network and your cellular data plan at the same time. So you have two separate streams of information downloading data.

   Swipe down from the top of your Galaxy Tab

   Then, go to the top and tap on the white gear-shaped icon for "Settings"

   Once you've tapped on "Settings", you're going to scroll down to the very bottom option under "Connections", which is "More connection settings"

   Then, on the right side of the window, you will see the second option "Download booster"

   Tap one time on "Download booster". This will tell you that when you're downloading larger files by 30MB or larger, it's going to use WiFi and LTE networks at the same time. Now, bare in mind you have to be connected to the both networks for this to work. However, if you have a limited data plan, it will chew through data plan very fast because it doesn't limit that.

   Now, let's turn it on

   You do this by pressing the little switch on the right-hand side. One press and the switch turns to green. "Download booster" has been enabled.

   You will see that your WiFi connection has switched and there is a little thing next to it
