Hi. You're watching VisiHow, and this is a tutorial on how to enable a slideshow for the desktop background, in Windows 7 computers.
Steps
1
First, right click on the desktop
.
2
When the context menu opens, click 'Personalize'
.
3
We will be brought to 'Personalization' section in the Control Panel
.
4
In this window, we need to press 'Desktop Background'
.
Click it once. The new section will open.
5
From this section, we need to select multiple files
.
We can either browse for files on our computer, or choose from the existing Windows library.
6
If we want to set specific images, we need to select them, as if we would select other files
.
For example, we can click on this image.
7
Then click and hold 'Ctrl'
.
8
Now, we can select any other images, then they will also be selected
.
9
To select a picture, hover the mouse over the picture, and then check the box in the upper left corner of the picture
.
10
Once we have selected all of the pictures that we need, we can set the time period for the pictures to change
.
To do so, click on the drop-down menu, that says '30 minutes'.
11
From here, we can select the time periods
.
The minimum is 10 seconds, and the maximum is one day. Let's select 10 seconds.
12
An extra setting is to use 'Shuffle'
.
Check it if we want to shuffle the images, uncheck it if you don't.
13
Once we're finished, press 'Save changes'
.
14
Now we can close the Control Panel window
.
15
This concludes our tutorial on how to enable a slideshow for desktop background on Windows 7 computers
.
