You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial I'm going to demonstrate how to use "On-body detection" in "Smart Lock" on Nexus 6P.

- 6What this does is it will allow your phone to remain unlocked while it's in your hands or in your pocket or in your purse. To enable this feature, tap on the toggle switch from Off to On. It's going to warn you that this is not the most secure way of keeping your phone locked. Because if you hand your phone off to somebody else, while you are carrying it there is nothing to distinguish you and them. So they will not be required to enter the lock code. Also there is a certain amount of timeout on this. So when you place your phone down on a table or other surface, there is a certain amount of time before it re-locks the phoneTap on "On-body detection".
