Before we begin, we make sure that the phone is unlocked

From the home screen, we need to access our "Settings" menu

Once we are in the "Settings" menu, we scroll down almost to the bottom until we find "Power manager"

Once we've located "Power manager", we tap it one time

The top option under "Power Manager" is "Battery saver". Half-way down the screen, there is also "Ultimate Power Saver". It prolongs the time of the battery up to several days. However, it does disable the use of most applications while it's turned on.

In order to turn "Battery saver" on, we need to tap the radio button
.
The button is in the upper right-hand corner. We will see the screen dim slightly. The radio button will be highlighted in blue. The time bar of our phone will be orange. These all will let us know that the battery-saving mode is currently enabled.

In order to turn "Battery saver" off, we return to the "Battery saver" screen and tap the radio button

The entire screen will brighten slightly. Everything will be in gray, letting us know that the battery-saving mode is off.
