    In order to enable Auto-Brightness on your iPad, you'll need to tap once on the "Settings" option. This is a gear-shaped gray icon. This will open up the "Settings" menu or panel. You will note that there is the icon with "AA" next to the "Display & Brightness" option.

    Tap once on "Display & Brightness". Now, you will see under "Display & Brightness" on the right that you have the option to turn on "Auto-Brightness".

    Tap on the "Auto-Brightness" toggle to enable the feature. This may quickly dim or brighten the device, depending on the settings and the lighting of surroundings.
