Edited by Freya, Sluderml, Eng
You're watching VisiHow. Today I'm going to show you how you can enable the Health App access on the MapMyRun application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need to unlock our phone, which we can do by pressing the Lock button on the side or our Home button at the bottom
.
2
Swipe to enter our passcode or use the fingerprint scanner
.
3
Find the MapMyRun icon, which is the blue and white one here, and tap it once to open it up
.
It will automatically take us to a page where we can start to record our workout.
4
What we need to do, is find this menu by tapping these three horizontal lines
.
5
Scroll all the way down until we find Settings, which is indicated by a cog on the left-hand side
.
6
I've gone through these other settings in other videos but what we need is "Connected Services" which is our second to last section
.
7
It says "Health App" on underneath, and we have the option to enable or disable on the right
.
When it's white, it means it's disabled.
8
We just tap on the bubble to turn it blue, to enable it
.
We can disable by tapping or enable to allow this function. That's automatically saved, we don't need to press save anywhere.
9
Go back to the three horizontal lines, then we can go to "Record a Workout" to go back to the screen where we started
.
10
This is a VisiHow video and I've just shown you how you can enable Health App access to the MapMyRun application on the iPhone 6
.
