Empty the Recycle Bin in Windows 8
Edited by Lukward Thomason, Crystal, Eng
Hi, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to empty the Recycle Bin on a Windows 8 computer.
The first thing that we're going to do is create a file to delete for the sake of the tutorial. We're going to do this by right-clicking on an empty space, hovering over "New" and clicking "Text Document".
We're going to remove this file by dragging it to the Recycle Bin. There are two ways to empty the recycle bin.
One way is to right-click on the Recycle Bin, then click "Empty Recycle Bin".
Another way is to double click the recycle bin icon to open it.
Then we can select all of the files, right-click, and click "Delete".
Alternatively, right-click on an empty space in the Recycle Bin window, and click "Empty Recycle Bin".
Then, confirm by clicking "Yes".
Now the folder is empty which means the Recycle Bin has been emptied. We can now close the window.
This concludes the tutorial on how to empty the Recycle Bin on a Windows 8 computer. Thank you for watching VisiHow. If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comment section below.
