Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to email a WhatsApp chat on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

   We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

   There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

   Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the WhatsApp application

   .

   There is a WhatsApp icon, which is a green speech bubble with a white telephone inside, and underneath it says "WhatsApp". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We want to demonstrate how to email a chat. This can be very useful if we want to share a chat with a friend, or if we want to keep the chat in a secure location.

   Choose a chat, then press down and hold down until a menu appears

   Tap on "Email chat"

   It's going to ask us if we want to attach media, "Attaching media will generate a larger email message."

   We're going to tap "ATTACH MEDIA". It will then ask us which email application we would like to use; Gmail or Mail, in this example.

   We're going to tap "Gmail", and the Gmail application will open with the chat history attached as "WhatsApp Chat with (name).txt".
