   To begin, we should unlock the phone by pressing the lock or the home button

   Swipe to enter the passcode or just use the fingerprint scanner

   Find the Numbers icon, which is this green one here

   .

   Tap once to open up the app. We already have a document open on a standard spreadsheet, but we can go through and open a new document if we'd like, which might have a slightly different format to this. If you don't know how to create a new document, find my other video where I explain exactly how to open a document on Numbers.

   For now, we should press somewhere within the spreadsheet and then go to the paint brush towards the middle of the screen

   We should now go to "Format" which is on the right-hand side

   We have different options here to choose from for what we'd like our focus to be

   We can find the one we'd like, tap on it, and then we'll see that the checkmark appears on the left-hand side.

   Some of them have an "I" on the right-hand side, which means we can edit some other settings as well

   Press "Format" to go back.
