Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to edit what style of notifications you would like to receive from Facebook on a Microsoft Lumia 535.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and it is here that we need to find the Facebook icon.

   Tap on the Facebook tile

   There is a blue tile background, and in the bottom right-hand corner of the tile, there is a white square with a blue "f" inside.

   We now need to tap the menu icon in the top right-hand corner

   There are three gray horizontal lines.

   Tap on "Settings"

   This will open up the settings menu.

   Tap on the "Notifications" option

   Underneath it says "Toasts and Live Tile" in this example, indicated that these options are currently selected. In this page it will say "What sort of notifications would you like?", and there are three options.

   We can see that "Toasts and Live Tile" is currently selected because there's a blue outline with a white check mark

   This means that the tile is going to move and there will be an information bar at the top as well. We can see an example of that by selecting a different option, then selecting "Toasts and Live Tile" again.

   If we press down on "Live tile only" we will see that it's only the live tile, not the toasts (which is the information bar)

   We can also choose "No notifications"

   There will be no notifications on our home screen. Choose the option that's right for you.

    When we're happy, we can press down on the blue circle with the blue check mark inside
