    The first thing you need to do is open Kaspersky Total Security

    When the program opens, click on the gear-shaped "Settings" icon at the lower left corner of the window

    On the left hand side of the "Settings" window, click "Additional"

    If you need help adding exclusions, please view our other tutorial. You can edit an exclusion by clicking to highlight the exclusion and then clicking the "Edit" button at the bottom of the screen.

    Alternatively, you can right click the exclusion and then click "Edit"

    You have several options in "Edit exclusion" that are almost the same as adding a new exclusion

    You can click "Browse" to choose a new folder or change the application.

    You can tick or uncheck the "Protection components", change the comment, or change the status from "Active" to "Inactive"

    If you change the status to "Inactive" and then click on "Save", the program or file will be added to the exclusion list, but it will not be excluded because of the inactive status
